At Hakka Guelph, we believe that great food brings communities together — and that community extends beyond borders. We are proud to announce our sponsorship of Mission Aasha: Ending Youth Unemployment Crisis in Nepal, a global nonprofit campaign led by Daayitwa in Nepal.
Mission Aasha is driven by a powerful goal: to connect global champions of change with rural catalysts of hope. Together, they are working to build a more inclusive, enterprising, and economically resilient Nepal — where young people have the opportunity not only to work, but to thrive.
Why Mission Aasha Matters
Nepal’s youth make up a majority of the population, yet too many remain unemployed or forced to seek unsafe and unstable work abroad. Mission Aasha raises awareness and resources to change that narrative by investing in local talent.
Funds raised through Mission Aasha support Daayitwa’s core initiative — the Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Promotion Program (GEEP) — which helps young Nepali entrepreneurs develop sustainable businesses, generate local jobs, and uplift their communities.
Hakka Guelph’s Role
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, Hakka Guelph proudly donates to this mission because we believe in:
✅ Supporting youth-led innovation
✅ Strengthening global communities through entrepreneurship
✅ Empowering families by creating meaningful employment opportunities
Canada and Nepal share a deep cultural connection through our vibrant Nepali community here in Guelph. This partnership is one way we can honor that bond and contribute to real impact back home.
A Shared Vision for a Brighter Future
When you dine at Hakka Guelph, you’re not only enjoying bold Asian flavours — you’re also helping support a better future for thousands of deserving young people in Nepal.
We are humbled to stand alongside Mission Aasha and Daayitwa in their journey to transform hope into opportunity.
